Philadelphia Police have arrested a man for the murder of a homeowner and two others inside a Tioga-Nicetown home this past Saturday, 12/1. 23-year-old Tahzay Young was arrested without incident in Center City on Wednesday, 12/5. Young is accused of killing 92-year-old Warren Harrison, his girlfriend, 60-year-old Khadijah Abdullah, and her brother, 57-year-old Earl Cottle. Young was apparently being evicted from the home by his landlord Harrison because he couldn't pay the rent. Harrison's daughter arrived home on Saturday to find the house in disarray. She called police who found the bodies of the two men in the basement with trauma to the head. The female was found stabbed on the second floor. Some items were taken from the home. Young was arrested near 16th and Chestnut after using Harrison's credit card. He is charged with murder, robbery, and other related charges. He has three prior convictions and had an active arrest warrant for burglary charges.

The Upper Darby parents of a 10-month-old baby girl have been arrested and charged with murder after it was revealed the child died from an accidental drug overdose. 31-year-old Joseph Milano and 34-year-old Lauren Semanyk are charged with murder, involuntary manslaughter, conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child and use of drug paraphernalia. On April 16th around 1 a.m., Police responded to the 5100 block of Westley Drive for the call of a child in cardiac arrest. She was taken to Delaware County Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead. The parents said that she had drowned in the bathtub. The autopsy revealed there was no water in her lungs and a toxicology report showed the fentanyl. "This is a very, very tragic story and it shows what drug addiction can do. The victim was a 10-month-old baby girl," said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood. "She was healthy and just learning to walk, she could say momma and da-da.... and she's dead." He also said that the parents waited 6 hours before calling for help despite knowing she had ingested the drugs.

A Philadelphia man who was just released from custody at Westmoreland County prison immediately stole a car from the jail's parking lot. Officials say that moments after 36-year-old Thomas Lee Williams was released on Tuesday evening, 12/4, he attacked a woman in the parking lot and stole her car with her 1-year-old grandson in the backseat. Williams crashed the car about 15 minutes later and ran into the woods where he was apprehended. He is back in custody on $250,000 bail. The grandmother and grandson were checked out at the hospital. Williams was being released from prison after serving time for selling drugs. He pled guilty in January 2017 to those charges.
