Delaware State Police are investigating an incident of alleged indecent expsosure in a Wawa in New Castle County on Saturday, 11/17. It happened just before 11 p.m. at the store on the 600 block of Yorklyn Road in Hockessin. Police say that the man was following a woman around the store while exposing himself. Store employees called 911 and the man fled. He is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, 200 to 235 pounds, and between the ages of 35 and 45. He was wearing a black knit hat, gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans. He drove off in a black or dark blue 4-door car. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Trooper J. Adams at Troop 6 at 302-633-5000.

Over 100 refugees from around the world celebrated their first Thanksgiving meal in the United States on Sunday, 11/18, at the annual Refugee Thanksgiving Celebration in Philadelphia. This 10th annual celebration was held at the Old Pine Community Center in Society Hill. The event is organized by HIAS Pennsylvania, a Jewish nonprofit that provides aid to refugees. Traditional turkey and fixings were served, along with traditional dishes from the countries of the immigrants. The organization was not deterred following last month's synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh. The shooter blamed HIAS and posted anti-Semitic messages about the orgamization. "America is not the shooter at Pittsburgh Tree of Life. America is not the shooter at Twin Oaks. America is this," said HIAS PA Executive Director Cathryn Miller-Wilson.

It was a record setting day at the Philadelphia Marathon. Sunday marked the 25th anniversary of the 26.2 mile race. There were nearly 30,000 runners involved this year between the multiple races and close to 60,000 spectators to cheer them on. It was clear and cold in the 40's at the start of the race. New York's Tadesse Yai Dabi (2:14:46) and Albuquerque's Serkalem Abrha (2:32:51) won the men's and women's race respectively and each set a course record.
