The two suspects involved in an incident on Wednesday morning, 11/7, that left a Philadelphia police officer shot have been identified and charged. Officer Paul Sulock and his partner were on patrol when they came upon the two suspects on G Street in Kensington. They were taking cover behind cars across the street from one another and one had a gun. The officers stepped in to stop the stand off. However, Sulock got shot in the leg. He was still able to chase down and apprehend one of the men. 29-year-old Jerome Hill is accused of actually shooting the officer. District Attorney Larry Krasner announced that he is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault on law enforcement and other offenses. He is being held on $3.3 million bail. 18-year-old James Gauthney is charged with hindering apprehension and obstruction of justice. The DA is seeking $1 million bail. More charges could be filed. Officer Sulock left Temple University Hospital on Thursday surrounded by family and greeted by collegues.

Police are investigating after a 2-year-old boy was found dead in a lake in Southampton, Burlington County. The boy's mother had called police and reported him missing at around 11 a.m. Friday, 11/9. New Jersey state police responded to the Mobile Estates of Southampton on James Avenue. After searching, 2-year-old Adam Reed's body was found in a lake just 200 yards from his home. State troopers pulled him out and tried to perform CPR, but it was too late. Investigators are trying to look for surveillance cameras to determine how Adam got to the lake from his home. His exact cause of death has not yet been determined. There are no charges at this time.

A man has died after being struck twice by two separate hit-and-run drivers in the Tacony section on Friday night, 11/9. It happened around 8:30 p.m. at Cottman and Torresdale Avenues. 51-year-old man was crossing Cottman Ave in the crosswalk when he was struck by a female driver in a gray Ford Fusion turning northbound on Torresdale. The vehicle fled the scene. He was hit again by a male driver in a dark-colored Mitsubishi traveling westbound on Cottman Avenue. That driver also fled. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have arrested a man in connection to the shooting incident outside of the Springfield Mall last month. 31-year-old Waheed Jenkins is charged with possession of a firearm prohibited, firearms not to be carried without a license, receiving stolen property, possession of an instrument of crime, possession of a weapon and four counts of recklessly endangering another person. Police are looking for a second gunman. The incident happened on October 20th around 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the mall. An argument inside between two groups spilled outside and became violent. Several shots were exchanged, but no one was hit. Only a few cars were left with bullet holes. The mall was placed on lockdown and then evacuated and closed for the day. Jenkins is remanded to the county prison in lieu of posting bail, which was set at 10 percent of $500,000.
