Authorities in Bucks County are still searching for a suspect wanted for sexually assaulting two children. Police now say that 47-year-old David Allen Hamilton Jr. may be driving a stolen car. It is described as a 2016 white Toyota Avalon with Pennsylvania license plate PD3759P. He was last seen in the New Hope area on Friday. Once, when an officer tried to take him into custody and Hamilton escaped after a stuggle, and again when a hunter spotted him in a heavily wooded area. The U.S. Marshals say he may be camping along the Delaware River Canal in the New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ area using a white tent with a red top. There is a $1,000 reward for information that leads to his arrest. You can contact the U.S. Marshals Tipline at 866-865-8477

UPDATE: Police have arrested 58-year-old Meredith Custodio for helping Hamilton evade capture. She was charged with hindering apprehension, conspiracy, and other charges. Custodio allowed Hamilton hide out in the basement of the home of a 78-year-old woman that she acted as caretaker.

At a press conference on Wednesday morning, 9/26, Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said that the man who went on a rampage last week had "a grudge against the world." Last Wednesday, 59-year-old Bruce Rogal, fired shots at his ex-wife outside of her home and then shot and killed his parents at their retirement home. Rogal had received notice that his divorce was final and he was losing the home earlier that day. His ex-wife was uninjured. After being shot at, she called her son to warn him. The son called other family and his grandparents. While talking to his grandmother on the phone, the line went silent. He notified the retirement community who went and found the couple dead. After an extensive manhunt, police saw his vehicle and followed Rogal back to his wife's home where he crashed into the house. Troopers opened fire. He was already dead when they pulled him from the vehicle. The autopsy showed he died from self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head using his rifle.

Two people were injured and buildings evacuated in a hazmat situation on the campus of the University of Delaware this afternoon, 9/26. The spill happened around 1 p.m. on the third floor of Drake Hall on the 100 block of Academy Street in Newark, DE. Two grad students were taken to the hospital after being decontaminated. Their injuries are not considered serious and included lacerations from glass. Both Drake and Brown Labs were closed as well as Academy Street as the spill was cleaned. The chemical(s) involved have not been disclosed.
