Authorities now say that a Delaware man shot and killed his wife and 3 children before turning the gun on himself in a murder-suicide. It happened around noon on Monday, 7/9, on the 2700 block of Ferris Road in Prices Corner. 42-year-old Matthew Edwards shot and killed his wife, 41-year-old Julie Edwards. He also shot his three children 6-year-old Jacob, 4-year-old Brinley, and 3-year-old Paxton. Matthew turned the gun on himself. They were discovered around 7:30pm on Monday evening when one of the children's friends was being dropped off for a sleep over. Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 302-365-8441.

The Gloucester County Fire Marshal's Office says that the explosion that leveled a house and killed an elderly New Jersey couple over the weekend was caused by some kind of gas leak. They could not determine the exact source of the leak or what ignited the blast. 73-year-old John Paladino and his 72-year-old wife, Carole were killed in the early Saturday morning, 7/7, explosion that level their home in Newfield.

All 12 boys and their soccer coach have been rescued from deep inside a cave in northern Thailand after an 18-day ordeal. It took rescuers three days to extract the entire team. The last four plus the coach emerged on Tuesday. Each operation into and out of the cave would take around 11 hours round trip. Members of the Thai Navy Seals helped guide the boys, many of whom could not swim, through the narrow tunnels using full face diving masks. The boys are now at a hospital and are in good spirits. They must stay for seven days to be evaluated for the potential of infection.
