A school bus overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cherry Hill, NJ, injuring several people on board. It happened around 11:40 a.m. Friday, 6/29, in the southbound lanes near Haddonfield-Berlin Road. The bus was carrying Boys and Girls Club campers to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden. 25 campers, 3 counselors, and the driver were on board. No one was seriously injured, but several children were taken to Cooper Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries. The driver said there was a mechanical problem with the brakes and she lost control. The bus ended up on its side on the side of the road. Other drivers on the road stopped to help get the children off the bus.

Philadelphia-based Comcast dealt with major outages nationwide to services on Friday, 6/29, including the Philadelphia area. The outages not only affected Xfinity internet but also tv and phone service. Comcast said in a statement that the disruption was caused by a fiber cut at one of their large backbone network partners. Most service had been restored by late afternoon.

Philadelphia Police are searching for suspects that opened fire on a driver in Germantown last weekend. It happened on Saturday, June 23rd just before 3:30 p.m. The 34-year-old victim was driving on the 100 block of West Queen Lane approaching Greene Street. That's when a silver sedan cut off the victim's car. Someone inside the sedan opened fire on the victim before the car fled. Police say that at least 8 shots were fired from a 9mm handgun. The victim suffered mutliple gun shot wounds and was taken to hospital in critical condition. The suspect's car has significant damage to the front passenger door. If you have any information contact Philadelphia police.
