The two men accused of killing Philadelphia Police Sergeant Robert Wilson III in March 2015 pled guilty today in court. Carlton Hipps and Ramone Williams accepted a plea deal that took the death penalty off the table in exchange for life in prison plus 50-100 years. Wilson was shot and killed inside a Game Stop store in North Philadelphia during an attempted robbery. The family of the fallen officer wanted the DA's office to pursue the death penalty in the case. At today's hearing, there were several outburts directed at District Attorney Larry Krasner. Family members also called for the death penalty in their victim statements. Krasner, who ran on a platform against capital punishment, said that by accepting the plea deal he is saving the family years of hearings and appeals. "They had the gun, they had the witnesses, they had the video, and they had the murderers. There was nothing lacking. Now, he gets into office and wants to investigate. Investigate what?" said grandmother Constance Wilson. "What do you mean give them a deal? They don't need a deal. They are cold-blooded killers."

Police in Bucks County has identified a man wanted in connection to a possible attempted child luring at a convenience store last week. Warminster police have interviewed a man whose picture was released from the store's surveillance cameras. It happened last Tuesday evening, 6/19, at the Wawa at Davisville Rd. and County Line Rd. A young girl told police that the man approached her and started to ask "weird and inappropriate questions." The girl was able to get another adult's attention and the man left. The case is still under investigation.

A small plane illegally landed on a restricted Coast Guard beach in Cape May around 8 p.m. on Sunday, 6/24. The pilot immediately fled and authorities are still searching for him. The Piper PA12 aircraft had been taken without permission by an employee from Paramount Air located in the Green Creek section of Middle Township. The FAA is investigating. Several beachgoers in Wildwood reported seeing the plane flying low and erratically over the shoreline on Sunday evening. The plane does not appear to be damaged, but officials do not know if the pilot was injured other than he was able to walk away. The owner of Paramount Air Services, Barbara Tomalino, says that her stepson took the plane without her knowledge. He works as a mechanic for the company that flies banner advertisements along the shore.
