Philadelphia Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man in the Somerdale section of Phladelphia. The 22-year-old man was found by a family member, lying near a shed in the backyard of a home on the 500 block of Byberry Road. Officials say that the victim had severe head injures, he was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are continuing an investigation.

Officials at PECO have announced they have fully restored power to the thousands of customers that were left without power due to the nor'easters that affected our area. PECO stated they restored the power to the 750,000 homes and businesses that lost power due to the storm. Many were left without any power due to the first storm that hit the area on March 2nd with heavy snow and strong winds, which ended up knocking down trees and power lines. But before anyone could get power back, a second nor'easter hit again causing more power outages. Crews are now preparing for the next round of snow that may be affecting our area Monday night.

Philadelphia Police say one woman was killed and at least two others were injured after being struck by a minivan in South Philadelphia on Saturday. The incident happened at around 4:30 pm near 23rd and Jackson Streets. Police say that the driver of the minivan had previously hit another. He then hit other vehicles before he hit a 46-year-old woman near Passayunk Avenue. Officials say that the driver was allegedly driving close 70 mph. The driver in the minivan was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Originally Police say that he was trying to flee the previous accident which caused the fatal crash, but Police now say he may have been suffering from a medical emergency while behind the wheel. So far there are now charges filed, but an investigation continues.

The Flyers play the Golden Knights tonight at 7:00 pm.

Today, Cloudy with some late snow showers and a high of 42 degrees in Center City.
