Police are investigating after a man was found with his throat slashed in South Philadelphia. Police found the 27-year-old man in the middle of the 2700 block of South Hutchinson Street in the early morning hours of Tuesday. The man was rushed to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police are still searching for a motive and a suspect for the incident.

The Philadelphia Parking Authority will begin to offer a parking ticket amnesty program starting this Thursday. The program will allow all parking tickets received prior to 2013 to be cleared from the record as long as all current tickets from 2013-2018 are all paid. For those who may have multiple tickets, the PPA is offering a 2-year payment plan. Anyone who has not received a ticket after 2013, can pay a $50 flat fee to clear up previous tickets. Enrollment for the program begins on Thursday and will end on April 30th.

The Montgomery County District Attorney's office is investigating a police involved shooting that took place in Norristown on Tuesday. The incident took place along the 200 block of East Chestnut Street. Police say they encountered an armed man while investigating a disturbance. The suspect took off running through a backyard, this is when one of the officers opened fire and shot the suspect in the shoulder. The suspect is now in the hospital recovering from the gunshot wound. An investigation continues.
