Ten animals are now in the care of the Brandywine SPCA after a suspect was taken into custody in connection with dog fighting in Chester County. Police have stated that six dogs and four rabbits were rescued from the home and are now getting the medical attention they needed. 39-year-old Dwayne Molina has been charged with animal cruelty in the case. Police say the investigation started after they noticed a badly injured dog in Molina's car during a traffic stop back in November. The Brandywine SPCA is now seeking the public's help with donations to help care for the animals.

A second suspect has been taken into custody that was involved in the brawl that happened at a Delaware high school basketball game last Thursday evening. 18-year-old Tahraan Hughes turned himself into the Milford Police Department on Monday. Hughes has been charged with disorderly conduct. The fight happened during the fourth quarter of the game between Cape Henlopen and Smyrna High School teams. Hughes has been released on $500 bail and is also prohibited from attending any basketball games in Delaware and is also banned from the Milford School District properties. The first suspect, 18-year-old Randy Rickards, turned himself in on Friday. Police are still searching for a final suspect.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a triple shooting that occurred in North Philadelphia on Monday night. Police have stated that a masked gunman shot two men at point-blank range while they were leaving a corner store at Sheridan and Clearfield streets in North Philadelphia. A stray bullet also hit a woman standing nearby the shooting. One of the male victims was shot twice in the arm. The other male was shot once in the head. The female victim was shot in the armpit as well as the back. All three victims were taken to Temple University Hospital. The woman and the man who was shot in the head are both in critical condition; the other man is listed in stable condition. Police are reviewing local surveillance footage of the incident and they say the suspect was last seen running eastbound from the scene of the crime. So far there is no word on any motive for the shooting.
