Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a man was shot in Center City on Wednesday night. The shooting took place at around 8:30 pm on the 1500 block of Chestnut Street. Police arrived on the scene to find a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right wrist. The victim was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he was listed in stable condition. So far no arrests have been made.

SEPTA's board is set to vote on Thursday on the proposed path of the $1.2 billion King of Prussia train route. SEPTA officials are expecting to get the "ok" from officials, the vote on Thursday is just to approve the route. The funding for the 4.5 mile long route won't be finalized until additional planning is competed. The plan is to add stops in the corporate center as well as in the mall. This is said to have an effect in reducing heavy traffic in the area. It will be an extension of the Norristown High Speed Line.

Authorities in New Jersey are investigating after a house fire left three people dead. The fast moving fire broke out early Monday in Bridgeton. 28-year-old Enrique Velazquez along with his 6-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son, were all pronounced dead at the scene of the fire. The children's 26-year-old mother, Raquel Velazquez, as well as their 10-month old baby and 33-year-old uncle made it out of the blaze. The mother still remained in the hospital on Wednesday, the baby and the uncle were both treated and are reported to be ok. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
