Teen Wanted for Camden Murder; Sinkhole in Fishtown; Roy Halladay and Tom Petty Toxicology Released

Police in Camden, NJ are searching for a 17-year-old male wanted in the shooting death of another 17-year-old last week. Damann Alford of Clementon is charged with 1st degree murder. It happened around 1:20 p.m. on January 8th at the intersection of 29th and Clinton Streets. Alford is described as an African American, brown eyes, black hair, 5' 10”, 160 lbs. He is considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information or know of his whereabouts call police.

A large sink hole in Fishtown prompted the evacuation of several residences. The Philadelphia Fire Department evacuated 6 homes along the 2200 block of Taggert Street. The hole measures approximately 30 feet by 30 feet. Utlility crews are working to repair the hole. No one was injured



The autopsy and toxicology report in the death of former Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay was released on Friday. Halladay died in a plane crash in November 2017 while flying his own ICON A5 amphibious plane over the Gulf of Mexico near New Port Richey, FL. The Pasco County coroner stated that blunt force trauma and drowning contributed to his death. He said he died on impact. Toxicology reported the presence of three drugs in his system: morphine, amphetamine and a common sleeping pill.

Also, according to family, classic rocker Tom Petty died from an accidental overdose of a variety of prescribed pain medication. Those medications included including Fentanyl patches, oxycodone (Oxycontin), temazepam (Restoril), alprazolam (Xanax), citalopram (Celexa), acetyl fentanyl and despropionyl fentanyl. He was suffering from a number of medical issues including emphysema, knee problems and a fractured hip. Petty died form cardiac arrest on October 2nd, 2017. He was 66.
