Police in Bucks County have made a couple of arrests in connection with an assault during a bar room brawl in Bensalem last month. It happened at Big Heads Bar on Street Road on December 20th. Jomar Garcia was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering another Person, and Possession of Instruments of Crime. Bail was set at $75,000 and he has been released. A second suspect has been arrested but not identified. The brawl started as an argument between a customer and a bartender, before the customer threw a punch. Employees of the bar got into a scuffle with four suspects as they tried to bounce them from the bar. One suspect hit an employee in the head with a bottle and another swung a pool cue. The whole incident was caught on surveillance video.

A person was stabbed with a screwdriver by another passenger on a SEPTA bus this morning in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. It happened around 8 a.m. near the intersection of Germantown Avenue and W. Logan Street. There was some type of altercation between the two passengers riding on the Route 23 bus. One of the passengers then stabbed the other in the face with the screwdriver and fled on foot. The 19-year-old victim was cut on the lip. He was taken to Einstein Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are searching for the suspect.

Service has resumed on SEPTA's Paoli-Thorndale Regional Rail Line after a person was struck and killed by an Amtrak train this morning. It happened at 10:36 a.m. at 67 Wynnewood Road in Merion Station near the Wynnewood Station. According to Amtrak, a person was trespassing on the tracks when they were hit by the Amtrak Train #646 from Harrisburg to New York. No one on board was injured. Amtrak police along with Montgomery county officials are investigating the incident. Service resumed around 11:45 a.m.
