A Philadelphia Police officer was left injured after a traffic stop on Monday evening. The incident took place on the 2900 block of American Street at around 6:24 pm. The officer was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. An arrest was made at Front and Oxford Streets following the incident.

Police in New Jersey are now investigating after a man was left injured in a shooting at a South Jersey Mall. The shooting took place on Monday night at the Cumberland Mall in the Boscov's parking lot, located on the 3800 block of S. Delsea Drive. Police arrived on the scene to find the 29-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim told police that he met with the suspect to buy narcotics. The victim got into the suspects car. This is when the suspect attempted to rob him. During the altercation, the victim was shot once in the leg, but was able to escape and call for help. The victim was taken to a local area hospital to be treated for his injuries. So far no arrests have been made.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers recently seized the largest amount of cocaine at the Area Port of Philadelphia in 10 years. Officers discovered over 700 lbs of cocaine hidden inside of cabinets that were shipped from Puerto Rico. Authorities say that, while examining shipping containers at a seaport in Pennsauken, N.J., on November 2nd, officers noticed something suspicious in one of the containers. The containers were then shipped off to the Boarder Patrol's Centralized Examination Station located in Philadelphia. Upon further investigation, the cabinets and other items were lined with false walls, which concealed 256 bricks of cocaine. Officials say that the drugs had a street value of nearly $22 million dollars.
