Doylestown native and international pop star Pink (P!NK) will perform the National Anthem at this year's Super Bowl LII. The game will be played at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on February 4th. Some of the recent past performers of the "Star Spangled Banner" include Luke Bryant, Lady Gaga, Idina Menzel, Renee Fleming, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, and Billy Joel. See full list. Justin Timberlake is slated to perform at halftime.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie signed legislation on Monday that prohibits discrimination against and provides accommodations for women who breastfeed in the workplace. Employers must provide break time and a suitable location for mothers to pump or feed their child during the work day. Breastfeeding women cannot be fired or otherwise discriminated against. New Jersey is now the 18th state to give civil rights protections to breast feeding mothers at work. There are similar federal protections, but only at businesses with 50 or more employees.

Philadelphia Police have identified the man who was shot and killed Saturday night while stopped at a red light in West Philadelphia. It happened around 6 p.m. at Girard and Merion Avenues. 27-year-old Ryan Wilson of the 7000 block of Forest Avenue was shot multiple times while sitting in the front passenger seat of a 2001 Dodge Neon. A 25-year-old woman was also shot. She was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in critical condition with gun shot wounds to her should and arm. Police are still investigating. This was the first homicide of 2018.
