Philadelphia Police are investigating after a man and a woman were injured in a home invasion that took place in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia. Officials say that three men in black ski masks and black clothing forced their way inside of a home on the 2100 block of Oakford Street at around 6:15 am on Sunday. The suspects assaulted a 35-year-old disabled man, hitting him in the back of the head with a gun. The suspects also shot a 31-year-old woman in the knee. Both were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment. There is no word if anything was stolen from the house and police are searching for the suspects.

Officials stated that a man is in critical condition after he was attacked in his Spring Garden home. The 66-year-old victim and another man were arguing after the victim double-parked his car at North 20th and Pennsylvania Avenue. Police say that during the argument the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest. Luckily, two police officers were near the scene and heard the victim scream. They immediately ran over and arrested the suspect. The victim was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

A young girl was hospitalized after she suffered a gunshot wound in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia. The incident took place at around 12:30 pm on Sunday on the 1300 block of South Wilton Street. Police say that the 3-year-old girl got a hold of her father's loaded gun and ended up shooting herself in the leg. Officials say that the bullet made multiple wounds by way the girl was sitting when the gun was discharged; it entered her thigh and then exited through her calf. The girl was rushed to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she is listed in stable condition. Officials say that the father was rushing to work and asked his mother (the daughters grandmother) to watch her. Police say when they arrived on the scene, the grandmother had hidden the gun, and did not tell them it was a gunshot wound. Police say the father does have a license to carry and charges are expected to be brought against the grandmother.
