Philadelphia Police are now searching for a Wawa customer who attacked a Wawa employee with coffee in the Juanita section of Philadelphia. The incident took place on the 1300 block of East Erie Avenue last Friday. Surveillance footage from the store shows the suspect arguing with the clerk. It then ended with the suspect throwing hot coffee at the employee. Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to contact East Detectives.

The 10th annual Driving Away the Cold campaign run by the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation has donated around 1,400 winter coats for local Philadelphia kids in need. The program run by the foundation each year asks local auto dealers to pledge a brand new winter coat for local children each time they sold a car. The children were able to pick their own jackets that were donated by the local auto dealers. Kevin Mazzucola of the foundation stated "Warmth should not be a luxury, it should be a staple for these kids and it shouldn't be something that they worry about."

A Pennsylvania Judge has said he will announce on Wednesday of this week whether or not to grant former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky a new trial, throw out his child sexual abuse charges, or deny the appeal and keep him in jail. PA Judge John Foradora stated online on Monday that he will issue a decision regarding Sandusky's Post Conviction Relief Act Appeal on Wednesday. Sandusky is appealing stating he did not receive proper representation from his lawyers during his trial. Sandusky is currently serving a 30-60 year sentence after being convicted in 2015 of 45 counts of sexual abuse involving 10 boys. Sandusky had previously lost a round of appeals to the state Superior and Supreme courts.
