Cabrini University officials in Radnor are now investigating an incident involving a racial slur drawn onto a student's dorm room door. The note was left on an African American student's door stating a very offensive phrase telling her to go home. The student believes that she was targeted in the message because she is the only minority out of the roommates she lives with. Cabrini officials released this statement about the incident: "The University is fully investigating this report, and takes our student safety seriously. Cabrini does not tolerate any form of hate speech or racist language, and our priority remains to ensure our students feel safe and supported."

A local Philadelphia area woman was one of the students injured with acid in the attack in France on Sunday. Courtney Silverberg, who is from Chester Springs, is a student at Boston College and is studying abroad in France. The attack took place at a Marseille train station, and officials say that a woman sprayed the students in the face with acid. The students who were injured were all treated for their burns and then released. The suspect is a 41-year-old French woman who police say is "disturbed". Police are still investigating but they do not believe it was an act of terrorism.

Philadelphia Police are now investigating a deadly shooting after a security guard in North Philadelphia shot a man. The shooting took place at Germantown Avenue and Cumberland Street just after 11 pm. Police say that the suspect opened fire, hitting a man and woman in their legs. The security guard then opened fire on the suspect. Police took the 30-year-old suspect to Temple University Hospital where he later passed away. The man and woman who were shot went to the hospital as well where they were treated and are listed in stable condition. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
