A mother in Delaware County has now been arrested in connection with the discovery of a deadly drug that was found in an elementary school parking lot. Police say that 29-year-old Dollinda Williams dropped off her child at St. Bernadette's in Drexel Hill when two dozen bags of fentanyl fell out of her pocket or purse. Another parent found the drugs. Williams turned herself into police on Tuesday. She has now been charged with possession and reckless endangerment.

Lehigh Valley Police are continuing an investigation after a Lafayette College student died. The student, 19-year-old McCrae Williams, was found unconscious outside of his dorm on the Lafayette College campus on Sunday afternoon. He was then taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital where he passed away 24 hours later. Investigators believe that his death was the result of a chain of events that culminated with some kind of medical emergency. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

A judge on Tuesday dismissed criminal charges against the engineer of an Amtrak train that derailed in Philadelphia killing 8 people. Judge Thomas Gehret decided to dismiss the criminal charges against the engineer, 34-year-old Brandon Bostian, after he stated that there was a lack of evidence. Bostian faced charges including involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment. The train fell off the tracks back on May 12, 2015, after it accelerated up to 106 mph as it entered a 50 mph limit curve. Around 200 people were injured and 8 others were killed. The federal safety investigators say that Bostian lost his bearings after he was distracted by an incident with a nearby train.
