The Philadelphia Music & Arts Festival aims to be a "testament and celebration of the exploding music scene in Philadelphia and a showcase of up and coming artists." Philadelphia is once again becoming a rich, diverse, and inspiring music community reminiscent of the previous golden eras. The two night, two stage affair (next month at World Cafe Live) will feature prominent local artists such as Strand of Oaks, Cayetana, Ivy Sole, Deadfellow, Abi Reimold, Pine Barrons, Cheerleader, Eric Slick, and more. Any music scene is a two way street and can only be as good as the support from the fans. The Philadelphia Music & Arts Festival is a non-profit endeavor - founded, produced and curated by Greg Seltzer. "Our mission is to encourage the citizens of Philadelphia to SUPPORT YOUR SCENE."
In addition to the tremendous music lineup, the festival will include local food, beer, and arts. All of the taps will be pouring beer from local breweries including Conshohocken Brewing Company, Yards, Wissahickon Brewing Co, Saint Benjamin, Flying Fish, and more. Local food trucks will be outside on 31st Street providing the fare during the festival. Federal Donuts will also be setting up their complimentary donut wall inside the venue.
Set your calendars for Friday, September 22nd and Saturday, September 23rd for the Philadelphia Music & Arts Festival. Come out and SUPPORT YOUR SCENE.
