Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a man shot and killed a women and then turned the gun on himself outside of a funeral home in Delaware County on Monday. The incident took place outside of a funeral home on South Providence and Chester Roads at around 1:15 pm. Police say that the man and woman pulled up in front of the funeral home, that's when the woman got out of the car and started running. The man then got out of the car and shot the woman in the chest, then later turned the gun on himself. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene, and the man was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Bill Cosby has now hired Michael Jackson's former lawyer to represent him in his November re-trial for his sexual assault charges. Cosby's spokesman announced on Monday that they are bringing in Tom Mesereau to lead the new defense team after the lawyers from the first trial in June wanted off the case. He will also be joined by Sam Silver who represented U.S Rep Chaka Fattah, as well as federal prosecutor Kathleen Bliss. Mesereau has defended many other celebrity trials including Mike Tyson, Robert Blake and Suge Knight.

A group of peaceful protestors gathered outside of the former Philadelphia Mayor Frank Rizzo's statue on Monday night. The protestors are hoping to remove the statue, saying that it represents a symbol of violence, oppression and racism. Rizzo, who was a former Philadelphia Police officer turned mayor, had a strained relationship with the African American and gay communities. Though there are many that want it down, there are others that would like to keep the statue where it is. Mayor Kenny has now stated there is no decision on whether it will be taken down or relocated, but he did say that he will try to meet with the protestors to hear their reasons.
