One person has now died after two motorcycles crashed in Chester Delaware County on Sunday. The incident took place at around 7:30 pm on Sunday at 10th and Lamokin Streets. Officials say that both of the bikes crashed into another, the one victim was pronounced dead and the other suffered injuries from the crash. Police are still continuing an investigation into the crash.

Beginning later this week, a new law will be put into affect in Pennsylvania that will make anyone caught with a blood alcohol level of .10 or above have to have a device installed into their car. The device will prevent the driver from starting the car if alcohol is detected in their breath. If failed, device will put the car into lock down for 5 minutes, and then another 30 minutes if failed again. The new law will require all first time offenders to have the device installed, the device will cost around $100 per month as well.

Another act of vandalism occurred this past weekend involving a Frank Rizzo memorial in the city. Police say that a mural depicting the former Mayor of Philadelphia, Frank Rizzo, was defaced by paint. The incident took place at 9th and Montrose Streets, at around 3am, when police say a group of suspects defacing the mural. Police ensued a chase with the suspects and were able to catch one of the suspects. This is not the first defacement of Frank Rizzo memorial, earlier in the week, a victim spray painted "black power" onto the statue. Police are now continuing the search for the other suspects involved in the vandalisms.

Weather

Today, Sunny, Clouds and a possible rain shower with a high of 88 degrees in Center City.
