Exotic Birds Stolen At Berks Zoo; Man Senteced, 178-416 Years; Dinardo Confesses To Other Murders

Police are searching for the suspects who stole 4 exotic birds at a petting zoo in Berks County over the weekend. The burglary took place overnight Sunday into Monday at the Oley Dairy Turnpike Zoo. The suspects got away with 4 of the birds in the petting zoo, one of them including a 20-year-old African Gray Parrot. Police found human blood at the scene, which they believe was drawn from one of the birds attacking the suspects. Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to contact the Oley Police Department.

The Philadelphia District Attorney's office has stated that a Philadelphia man who had been convicted in connection with 4 attempted murders has now been sentenced to 178-416 years in prison. Amin Akridge has been found guilty of all charges from four incidents that took place back in 2015. In all four cases, Akridge robbed and shot his victims, leaving one of the victims paralyzed from the waist down. Ackridge was charged with four counts of attempted murder, six counts of robbery, conspiracy, aggravated assault and weapons charges.

Cosmo Dinardo, the man who confessed to the murders of the four missing men from Bucks County, also stated that he has committed murder before. Dinardo said in his confession that he was also involved in two other murders in Philadelphia that have taken place over the past 5 years. Dinardo made a deal with the district attorney to help him avoid the death penalty by confessing and giving them information about the bodies. Bucks County officials are currently investigating into Dinardo's recent claim, to see if they are in fact true. Philadelphia Police have not yet had the chance to interview DiNardo about the supposed murders, but are also trying to match up his claims to any crimes committed.
