A Bucks County woman has been sentenced to 12-40 years in prison for the death of her 2-year-old daughter. 24-year-old Kayla Moore was sentenced on Monday and pleaded no contest to third degree murder of her daughter Athena Wolfe. Police say that Moore reported her daughter in cardiac arrest, but when doctors examined her body, they say she had many bruises and appeared malnourished. Moore stated after her trial that she is "ashamed, embarrassed, angry with myself and heartbroken."

Philadelphia Police have now arrested two suspects who they believe were responsible for the shooting in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia last month that left 10 people injured. 19-year-old Tyrell Broadnax was placed into police custody on Monday. Police also charged 18-year-old Quadir Burley, who was already in custody in a Montgomery County prison for unrelated charges. The shooting took place at a party back on May 20th, and police say that the teens opened fire into the crowd of people. Luckily no one was killed in the shooting, but multiple victims suffered serious injuries. Both suspects face 10 counts of attempted murder.

Pennsylvania Police have arrested a Bucks County man for aiding in his son's escape from jail. 65-year-old Daniel Selby was brought into police custody on Monday evening and is being brought up on charges of hindering apprehension, aiding consummation of crime and obstructing administration of law. Selby's son, 24-year-old Daniel Selby Jr., escaped a prison transport van late Sunday night. Police have since called off their immediate search of Selby since they believe he is beyond state borders.
