Man Stabbed In W. Phila; Victim Killed In Window Washing Accident; Father Charged In Son's Death

Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a man was stabbed in the neck in West Philadelphia on Wednesday evening. The incident took place on the 5500 block of Chestnut Street at around 6 pm. Police and medics arrived on the scene and quickly rushed the man to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for immediate treatment. So far there is no word on his condition, or any word of a motive. Police are searching for the suspect or suspects responsible.

Camden County officials are now investigating after a window washer was killed in a horrific accident. The incident took place at the Cherry Hill Towers located on 2145 Route 38 East at around 4:30 pm. Officials say that the window washer was working on the building when the victim fell from the stand. Police and medics arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim dead on the scene. Officials are now investigating into the cause of the accident.

A father, 31-year-old Omar Cooper, has now been charged in the death of his 6-year-old son which took place in Southwest Philadelphia. Police were called to the 5800 block of Willows Avenue at around 12:30 pm with a report of an injured child. After arriving on the scene 6-year-old Omar Braxton-Cooper was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he was later pronounced dead. The boy reportedly had suffered multiple injuries throughout his body. Cooper has now been charged with homicide and other related offenses.
