The Chester County District Attorney's Office announced the arrest of a man accused of sucker punching a man with cerebral palsy outside of a convenience store earlier this month. The incident was caught on surveillance video (watch below). 29-year-old Barry Baker of Coatesville is charged with assaulting a 22-year-old disabled man. It happened at a 7-Eleven store in West Chester on May 10th around 2:30 a.m. Baker and his friends were leaving the store when the victim drove into the lot. Baker mocked the victim's walk as he went inside. They were still outside when the victim exited the store moments later and Baker continued to make fun of the man. The victim stopped and turned around. That's when Baker punched the man right in the face and fled. The victim leaned on his car for a few minutes stunned before driving off. Bail was set at $25,000 and a preliminary hearing in May 30th. Watch the video below.

Jury selection has begun in the Bill Cosby trial in a Pittsburgh court room. Potential jurors will be selected from Allegheny County after the defense argued jurors from Montgomery County near Philadelphia have been exposed to too much media coverage to be partial. The judge plans to bring 100 potential jurors in each day for questioning until they seat 12 jurors and 6 alternates. Besides factoring in race, gender, age, occupation and interests, they have to weigh some specifics to this case. Today, 67 said serving would be a hardship including being sequestered 300 miles from home. 34 had formed an opinion on Cosby's guilt. 35 said they/friend/family member was a victim of sexual assault. Jury selection is expected to last all week. The trial starts June 5th.

UPDATE: Two men and one woman have been selected. They are all white. One man and the woman appear to be in their 50's, the other man in his late 20's/early 30's. The men said that someone close to them was a victim of sexual assault but that they could be fair.

Delaware State Police are investigating after an off-duty trooper shot and killed her boyfriend in self defense during a violent domestic incident. It happened around 11 p.m. in a home on the 3200 block of Champions Drive in Pike Creek on Sunday night. The trooper and her boyfriend got into an argument which became physically violent. The female 8-year veteran grabbed her service revolver and shot 43-year-old Maurice Ifill of Owings Mills, MD, in the chest. He was taken to Christiana Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. She suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized in stable condition. An autopsy will be performed on the boyfriend. The investigation in ongoing.
