The Philadelphia District Attorney's office announced that they will not pursue charges against the train engineer who was operating Amtrak train 188 when it derailed two years ago. On May 12th, 2015, Amtrak 188 crashed going around a curve at Frankford Junction while traveling twice the speed limit. Eight people died and over 200 were injured. This Friday is the deadline to file charges against engineer Brandon Bostian under the statute of limitations. The DA's office said they worked with homicide detectives, train experts, Philadelphia Police, Amtrak officials, and the NTSB in their investigation. They do not believe that the evidence shows Bostian committed a criminal offense under state law and that they'd be unable to prove a case beyond a reasonable doubt. A 'drop dead gorgeous' New Jersey high school student turned heads as she arrived at her prom over the weekend. 17-year-old Megan Flaherty wants to become a funeral director some day. Flaherty and her date rode in a hearse on Saturday night to the Pennsauken Junior Prom. However, Flaherty was in the back lying in an open prop casket. When the hearse pulled up to the drop off area, the coffin was slid out the back and her cooperative date her step out. That's quite the entrance. Wednesday Adams would approve. See video of her arrival below.

Drexel University has suspended a fraternity amid two recents reports of sexual assaults. The assaults allegedly took place at the Tau Kappa Epsilon house on Powelton Ave in Philadelphia between April 28th and May 4th. Drexel University police are investigating the incidents. The university sent a notification to all students about the investigation on May 5th. "Drexel does not tolerate sexual harassment or misconduct, in any form, and adheres to all federal, state and local requirements for intervention, crime reporting and privacy provisions related to sexual misconduct," the university said in its statement Tuesday. "The Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity has been placed on interim suspension." A national spokesman for TKE said the organization will cooperate fully with the investigation. Drexel University and police ask anyone with more information on either incident to contact Drexel police at 215-895-2222.
