Woman Killed By Own Dog; Deadly Shooting In North Philly; Boy Charged In I-676 Bike Incident

Upper Darby Police are now investigating after a woman was attacked and killed by her own dog in Upper Macungie Township. The incident took place on Spring White Drive on Thursday at 1:30 pm. Police say that the woman was attacked by her dog on the rear deck of her home. Once crews arrived on the scene the woman was taken to Lehigh Valley Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead. Officials say that the dog has been taken to the Lehigh County Humane Society where it will be euthanized. Police are continuing their investigation.

Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a 34-year-old man was shot and killed in North Philadelphia. The shooting took place on the 1300 block of West Seltzer Street at around 6:15 pm on Thursday. When Police arrived on the scene, they found the man injured with gunshot wounds and he was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police are still investigating into a possible motive and are still searching for the suspect or suspects responsible.

Pennsylvania State Police have now charged a boy who is responsible for organizing bicyclists to ride on the Vine Street Expressway over the weekend. The incident took place on Sunday at around 2 pm when over a hundred bicyclists rode their bikes onto I-676 eastbound. While police continued their investigation into the incident, and looking through pictures posted online, police were able to identify the boy who was responsible for organizing the event. He was taken into police custody on Thursday morning and faces misdemeanor and summary charges. SEE ALSO: Bikes Riding on I-676 on Video
