Delaware County Police are now offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who murdered 36-year-old Markia Benson last year. Benson's body was found lying under a hot running shower with blunt and sharp force trauma to the head and neck in the New Orleans Park apartment complex on the 900 block of South Avenue in Secane. Officials say Benson was last seen getting out of her car the night before the murder. Anyone with information is asked to contact Upper Darby Police (610-734-7693).

NAACP activists in Philadelphia have stated that they want the owner of a North Philly Laundromat to be held accountable for discharging his gun during a robbery. The robbery took place last Sunday on North 5th street when an armed man tried to rob the store. The owner then chased the man out of the store with a gun and ended up shooting the suspect in the chest as well as a bystander in the hand. The NAACP says that from the surveillance footage the owner should be brought up on reckless endangerment charges. The District Attorney's Office has stated that it does not have enough evidence to support the charges, but the case still remains open.

New Jersey Police are now investigating after a man was shot and killed by a New Jersey State Police Officer at a rest stop on the New Jersey Turnpike. The shooting took place at around 2:45 pm at the Molly Pitcher Service Station in Cranbury. Investagators say that Police were conducting an investigation at the rest stop when the suspect was shot inside of his pickup truck. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are continuing their investigation, which is being led up by the New Jersey State Attorney General's Office.
