Montgomery County officials are trying to find the owners of 50,000 pieces of stolen jewelry, coins, and other valuables recovered recently. They are valued at $1.5 million. The items were stolen as part of a massive theft ring that ran in the entire Philadelphia area including parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware as far back as 2013. Kebbie Ramseur, Jerrel Jaynes, Shron Linder and Ralph Mayrant were arrested and charged with the thefts over the summer. The items were to be sold at a shop on Jeweler's Row in Center City. The owner of the store, Wasim Shazad, was arrested in January. If you believe your items may be among those recovered, go to http://www.montcopa.org/JewelryWebsite for more information and pictures.

Philadelphia city officials are warning people walking around Center City today to be aware of falling ice from buildings and sky scrapers. Today's above freezing temperatures, warming sun, and wind have caused some of the snow and ice to melt and fall from high above down to the sidewalks. The Department of Licenses and Inspections and the Streets Department are advising building managers and owners to monitor their buildings and place appropriate barricades and warning signs on sidewalks under potential fall zones. Earlier this winter, ice fell from the Lowes Hotel along Market Street and the block was closed to pedestrian traffic for the afternoon.

Wawa is going to be launching a spring hiring campaign. They hope to hire 5,000 associates in all 750 stores across 6 states. The Media, Delaware County, PA company says that positions will be available at the customer service and management level. Some stores will host "Wawa Career Wednesdays" open houses each Wednesday from March 29th - April 19th. Those stores will have signs posted with more information.
