Search For Missing Philly Woman; DUI Crash On South Street; Towson Basketball Player Shot

Philadelphia Police are now searching for a woman who went missing on Saturday. 23-year-old Charlene Gardner of Philadelphia was last seen at around 8:30 am on Saturday after she was dropped off by her caretaker at a friend's house on the 6000 block of Ludlow Street. Gardner is described as a black female, 5' 3", 140 pounds, with black hair. Gardner is diagnosed with Schizophrenia and Bipolar disorders as well. Anyone with information about Gardner's whereabouts is asked to contact South Philly Detectives 215-686-3013.

Three people have been injured after a car crash happened on Broad Street on early Sunday morning. The crash happened at around 3 am on Sunday on the 4200 block of Broad Street in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia. The vehicle crashed into two parked SUVs. The 33-year-old driver suffered head trauma as well as a broken hip and leg, the 32-year-old rear passenger suffered a head laceration. Both were taken to Temple University Hospital. The 33-year-old front passenger suffered a head laceration and was taken to Einstein Medical Center in sable condition. The driver of the car was arrested and charged with a DUI.

A Philly college basketball player was injured in a double shooting that took place over the weekend in South Philadelphia. John Davis, a senior basketball player at Towson University, as well as a 16-year-old were shot at around 12:30 am on the 900 block of South 4th Street. Davis was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and treated for a graze wound to the right knee and was later released. The other teen was shot in the left thigh and was taken to Jefferson University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Police are still investigating the shooting, and are searching for the suspect responsible.
