Philadelphia Firefighters are now investigating a fire that took place in the early morning hours on Sunday. The fire broke out on the 4500 block of North Bouvier Street at around 5 a.m. in the Logan section of Philadelphia. The fire spread to two adjacent houses and damaged them as well, but the home where the fire broke was vacant. Firefighters are still investigating and looking into a possible cause that started the fire.

Police arrested a man over the weekend that struck and killed a teenage and a 10-year-old girl. The hit-and-run took place in the southbound lanes on Roosevelt Boulevard just before midnight on Sunday in the Oxford section of Philadelphia. Police say the 48-year-old Kennith Ruch struck the two girls with his Jeep, and continued to flee the scene, but a short time later he returned and was taken into police custody. Ruch has been charged with two counts of homicide with vehicle, as well as many other charges.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has now stated that Pennsylvania will be joining 16 other states in condemning President Trump's ban on refugees and citizens of seven Muslim countries. Governor Wolf was in Philadelphia on Sunday with family members who said their relatives from Syria were denied entrance to the Philadelphia International Airport on Saturday, although the family members had immigration visas. Attorney General Josh Shapiro also stated that he will join 16 other attorney generals who say Trumps decision is "unconstitutional, un-American and unlawful." Protestors took to Philadelphia International Airport on Sunday to protest Trump's decision.
