Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a deadly shooting took place in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia. The shooting happened on the 500 block of West Luray Lane at around 8:40 pm on Tuesday night. Police arrived on the scene to find a 33-year-old man laying on the ground with gun shot wounds. Police rushed the man to Temple University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police reported that the shooters also stole everything in the man's pockets. They are still searching for the suspects.

Former longtime Philadelphia Congressman Chaka Fattah Sr. will surrender to prison on Wednesday. Fattah will give himself over to Police and begin to serve his 10-year sentence. Fattah was sentenced back in December after he was found guilty of racketeering, conspiracy, and bribery charges. Four other advisors to Fattah were charged and sentenced. Fattah's lawyers filed a motion earlier to appeal, and a judge denied his bail pending the appeal. Fattah's lawyers are still working on the appeal process.

City Officials in Philadelphia have now announced a series of road closures and parking regulations for this Thursday as President Donald Trump is set to visit the Republican congressional retreat. The following roads will be closed between Thursday at 8 am to 6 pm, 13th Street from Chestnut to Market, Market Street from 11th to Juniper, and 12th Street from Chestnut to Arch. The PPA has stated they will tow any cars parked on these streets as well. City officials also state to be aware of rolling road closures as the president travels through Philly on Thursday. There will be pedestrian restrictions on those streets as well. SEPTA will be detouring around the area.
