The annual No Pants Subway Ride is scheduled for this Sunday. It started in 2002 by NYC-based comedy group Improv Everywhere and has grown to include cities all over the world. The concept is simple, get on the subway and take off your pants (keep your underwear on, no indecent exposure). This year, laundry delivery service company Got Laundry? is sponsoring the Philadelphia event and will be collecting pants or other items for donation to shelters. If you want to participate, just show up to the Clothespin at 15th and Market on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. (fully clothed). The group will be getting on a subway train around 3 p.m. A happy hour will be held at Lucha Cartel at 5:00 p.m. in Old City. What's the point? Fun. For more information go to the Facebook event page.

A man with a sword was arrested in Center City on Friday afternoon after he pulled a gun on police. An officer on duty near City Hall observed a man carrying a sword. When he approached him, the man pulled out a gun, but did not point it. The officer was able to continue to approach the suspect and apprehend him despite all of the weapons. The man was taken to Central Detectives for questioning. They are trying to determine what he was doing, why he had all of those weapons, and if he had a license to carry.

A driver who drove the wrong-way down a one-way street was shot by a pedestrian crossing the street after nearly hitting him. The 61-year-old pickup truck driver was driving the wrong way north on 12th Street at around 5:40 p.m. Friday. When he tried to make a turn onto Fairmount Avenue, he nearly struck another man walking across the street. The angry pedestrian then took out a handgun and fired at the driver, hitting him four times in the leg. The driver drove himself to Hahnemann University Hospital. He is in stable condition. The truck is covered in bullet holes and broken windows. Police found shell casings back at the scene. The shooter is at large.

Weather
Snow overnight, 1-3” around Philadelphia, higher amounts into South Jersey. Temperatures in the low 20's in Center City
