New Jersey Police are now searching for a suspect that they say beat up a high school student back in December. The incident took place on December 14th on Bromley Boulevard in Burlington Township. Police say that an 18-year-old man accidentally cut off another driver, which prompted the incident. Officials say the suspect tailgated the man for about a quarter mile until the victim reached his destination. When the victim got out of his car the suspect walked up to him and punched him to the ground. The victim was taken to Virtua Memorial Hospital where he was treated for several facial fractures and later released. Police are still searching for the suspect.

Two police departments in Chester County are now merging to help provide better service for the communities. New Garden Township and West Grove Borough have now joined forces to become to South Chester County Regional Department. It became effective back on January 1st. Officials say that the police cruisers are getting repainted as well as the officers getting new uniforms and badges. The new department will start with 21 officers, and plan to hire more as the year goes on.

Prosecutors have stated that Bill Cosby's trial should still remain at a Montgomery County courthouse despite Cosby's argument that the jury could be biased since there has been negative press coverage of his sexual assault case. However, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele stated that he would allow the jury to be picked from outside of the Philadelphia area for an unbiased opinion. Once the jury is picked they will be brought to Montgomery County for the trial that will begin in June.
