According to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter, former Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Chip Kelly will be fired from his current position as head coach of the San Fransisco 49ers after just one year. Kelly was hired last year after being fired by the Eagles after three seasons. Before Philadelphia, Kelly coached the Oregon Ducks. The 49ers are currently 2-13 with 1 game to go and have lost 13 straight, a franchise record. 49ers General Manager Trent Baalke is also expected to be let go by the organization.

Two people were struck and killed outside a Delaware County church on Saturday evening. It happened around 5:45 p.m. on the 200 block of Lawrence Road in Broomall. A man and a woman were struck by a northbound car outside of St. Pius X Catholic Church. They were both pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle did stop. The driver was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. No word on if there will be charges. Police are still investigating the accident. No further details on the victims have been released.

UPDATE: The victims have been identified as James and Eileen Locke of Havertown. 74-year-old James and 73-year-old Eileen had just attended the New Year's Eve vigil service and were crossing the road back to their car when they were struck.

Philadelphia Police say that a delivery driver was abducted and raped in the Germantown section of Philadelphia late Saturday afternoon. It happened around 4:30 p.m. Saturday on the 800 block of East Washington Lane. The 32-year-old female driver was making deliveries for a private company when a man with a gun jumped into her vehicle. He made her drive to another location where he raped her. The man then fled. He is described as a black male in his 20s and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
