The suspect wanted in the killing of a Pennsylvania State Trooper in Huntindon County on Friday night has been shot and killed after making threats to police. 32-year-old Jason Robison was found in an unoccupied mobile home in the area after an overnight manhunt. According to a state police spokesman, Robison refused orders and threatened officers leading police to shoot him. His death was confirmed at 10:30 a.m.

23-year-old Trooper Landon Weaver was shot and killed while responding to a protection-from-abuse order violation at a home on Bakers Hollow Road in Hesson, Juniata Township, around 6:30 p.m. Friday. He was assigned to the Patrol Unit at Troop G, Huntingdon barracks. Weaver enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police in December of 2015. He is the 97th member of the Pennsylvania State Police to be killed in the line of duty. Governor Tom Wolf has ordered all commonwealth flags on the Capitol Complex, at Commonwealth facilities, and all public buildings and grounds throughout the state to be lowered to half-staff in honor of fallen Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Landon Weaver.
