Police are now investigating after a shooting occurred in the Olney section of Philadelphia on Monday. The incident happened on the 5900 block of North 3rd Street at around 5:15 pm. Police say that two men were sitting in their car when someone shot both of them. The victims are a 42-year-old man who was shot in the left arm, and a 41-year-old man who suffered a graze wound to the left wrist. Both of the men were transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center and are listed in stable condition. Police are still searching for the suspect.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has announced they will be closing 4 churches after the new year. On January 11th, the Archdiocese will close Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and Saint Madeline Sophie, both located in the Mounty Airy section of Philadelphia. The Archdiocese will also be closing Saint Augustine's in Bridgeport, as well as Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in West Grove. The Archdioceses has stated a number of reasons for closing the churches, the main reason being maintenance costs.

The New Jersey based Quest Diagnostics has announced that hackers have obtained information from approximately 34,000 individuals in their records. Officials at the company stated that on November 26th an unauthorized third party gained access to its network. The hacker received data including names, date of births, lab results and in some cases phone numbers. The info did not include any Social Security numbers, credit cards, insurance or financial information. Quest stated that there is no indication if any of the user's info has been misused in anyway. Quest says it is taking steps to prevent this from happening again. They have reported the incident to law enforcement and will continue their investigation into the hack.
