Police are now investigating a shooting that took place in North Philadelphia on Friday that left one man in critical condition. The shooting happened on the intersection of 6th and Butler Streets at around 12 pm. Police responded to the call and arrived on scene to find a 31-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his neck and left shoulder. The man was then rushed to Temple University Hospital where he is now listed in critical condition. Police are still trying to figure out what caused the gunfire and who is responsible for the shooting.

Pennsylvania investigators are now seeking the public's help in solving a 23-year-old murder case of an 18-year-old girl. Julie Barnyock went missing back in November of 1993 when she was waiting for a ride at the Lansdale train station. Her body was found 23 years ago today, December 2nd, in the Lansdale Conrail/SEPTA freight yard. Officials have been continuing the investigation since then but have had no luck in finding the suspect or suspects responsible. Officials ask anyone if they have information to call the Lansdale Police (610-270-0977) or contact the Montgomery County Detectives office (610-278-3368).

A Philadelphia Jury has convicted a man in a triple murder case from August of 2015. 44-year-old Tam Minh Le has been found guilty of all counts he was charged for murdering two people. Le had tortured, stabbed, tied up with duct tape, and dumped 3 bodies into the Schuylkill River. He tied the bodies to cement blocks to weigh them down. One of the victims actually survived the ordeal, crawled out of the river, and helped detectives identify Le. Prosecutors in the case stated that the crimes committed by Le involved Vietnamese gangs in Philly as well a drug money debt owed to Le. The jury will now decide whether or not Le will be sentenced to death.
