Kanye Cancels Saint Pablo Tour, Philly Dates; Wolf Vetoes Police Bill; Kaplan Waives Prelim Hearing

Kanye West has canceled the rest of the tour dates on his Saint Pablo tour. This comes after the rapper went on a long tirade at a show in Sacramento, CA this past weekend and cut the show short. The cancellations include two shows scheduled at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on December 13th and 15th. No reason was given for the cancellation.

UPDATE: Kanye West was taken to UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon for evaluation. He was placed under observation for his own health and safety. LAPD was called to his home around 1:20 pm PT for a welfare check.

Pennsylvania Governor Wolf has vetoed a bill that restricts the situations police officers are identified after firing their weapon. The bill passed both the House and Senate last month with veto-proof majorities. The bill mandates that an officer's name be released if charged with a crime, but their identities can be withheld if no charges are filed. Wolf said that the bill withholds important information from the public. While he is concerned for the safety of police officers, he said that the police departments are best equipped at deciding what information gets released to the public.

A Pennsylvania man accused of sexually assaulting six sisters who were living with him in Bucks County waived his right to a preliminary trial today. 52-year-old Lee Donald Kaplan maintains his innocence. He just didn't want them to have to testify over the holiday. He fathered two children with one of the girls that he claims is his wife and that he didn't touch the other five. Kaplan was 'gifted' 9 daughters from an Amish couple for helping them out financially. Kaplan will now head to trial. He is being held on $1 million bail.
