Philadelphia Police are now investigating after an 8-year-old girl was hit by a car in Overbrook. The incident happened Friday at around 3:30 pm on 63rd Street and Lansdowne Avenue. Police have stated that the girl was hit by the car, and the driver proceeded to flee the scene in his car. The girl was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she is currently in critical condition. Police have described the vehicle used in the hit-and-run as a gray or silver Nissan Altima or Maxima, and are continuing their search for the suspect.

President-Elect Donald Trump has now agreed to a $25 Million settlement regarding three lawsuits over his former real estate investors school: Trump University. The settlement was announced on Friday by New York's Attorney General Eric Schniderman. The deal will settle two class action lawsuits filed in California, and a civil lawsuit filed by Schniderman. The lawsuits stated that Trump failed to provide a quality real estate education that his University had promised. Schniderman stated that the $25 Million will be paid by Trump himself or one of his businesses in restitution for the students affected as well as $1 Million going towards penalties to the state.

A Philadelphia man is now facing serious charges after he was caught stealing tens of thousands of dollars from an ATM machine in Bucks County on Friday. 50-year-old Dennis McLernan was caught by police early Friday morning after he stole money from an ATM at a Tru-Mark Finacial in Bensalem. McLernan is employed by the company responsible for ATM services and money deliveries, and Police say that he used a key to open the ATM, but staged it to look like it was broken in to. Police were called to the scene of Friday and found Mclernan dressed in black, carrying a duffel bag walking along Old Lincoln Highway. Once spotted by police a foot chase ensued, but police were able to apprehend McLernan as well as the duffel bag which had $68,000 in it. McLernan is now charged with burglary, theft as well as other related charges.
