Demonstrators hit the streets of Philadelphia for the second night in a row on Thursday to protest Donald Trump being elected as President. Demonstrators started their protest at City hall with a candlelight vigil, then proceeded to march up JFK Boulevard, protesters caused some traffic stoppage to the Schuylkill Expressway once protestors hit 30th Street Station. Protestors then started to disperse and go their various ways. The demonstrators kept the protest quiet and peaceful, and even SEPTA Transit Police Chief Thomas Nestel tweeted out on Thursday night saying that "All is Peaceful."

Police are now investigating vandalism and harassment incidents that have taken place at Council Rock North High School in Newton, Bucks County. The school has stated that many different vandalism incidents took place in the girl's and boy's bathrooms. One of the incidents involved a piece of paper that was hung in the bathroom with "I (heart) Trump" written on it along with a derogatory comment against the LGBTQ community accompanied with three swastikas. Two swastikas were found drawn in the boy's bathroom as well, and a Latina girl found a note in her backpack telling her to go back to Mexico. The Superintendent of Council Rock School District released a report on the incidents and urged the community to practice mutual respect of all people, to prevent any more incidents.

A Rowan University student has been hospitalized after his cell phone charger caught fire. The incident happened at around 8 pm on Thursday in the Chamberlin Student Center on Rowan's campus in Glassboro, New Jersey. Officials have stated that the student was in the center when the charger ignited in his pants pocket. The student was taken to Kennedy University Hospital with minor leg burns. The building was evacuated after the incident, but was later re-opened. Officials are still trying to figure out the make and model of the phone and charger involved in the fire.
