The Transportation Workers Union has now declined an offer from SEPTA officials to try and resolve the strike. The offer was rejected by shortly after 5 pm by Union members, officials say the offer contained few additions the union members wanted. Around the same time, SEPTA officials received an injunction from the Philadelphia Common Pleas court, that bans strikers from interfering with Regional Rail services, after they caused many cancellations this evening. SEPTA officials will continue to create contract offers to end the strike.

The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs has now rejected the 5-year plan Atlantic City had proposed to help regain the city's financial stability. With the plan being rejected, the city is one step closer to having it's day to day operations taken over by the state. DCA Comissioner Charles Richman wrote a 75 page report stating that the city's plan did not meet the states requirement for a balanced budget. The plan would eventually leave the city in a hole that bring the debt to $106 million over the next 5 years. The report did not mention if NJ Governor Chris Christie should go ahead with the state's takeover of the city.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and FBI Director James Comey met privately for the first time since the FBI has announced the new email scandal that Hillary Clinton. The meeting between the two officials took place after a national security meeting at the FBI on Monday. Sources say that the two talked about the "seriousness of the ongoing matter" that has cause a political uproar only a week away from Election Day. Lynch stated she wanted to personally check in with Comey to see how he is doing. The FBI and Attorney General both continue to feel the pressure as more information is released about the investigation.
