Police have ID'd and charged the man responsible for ruining the Malandra Hall Community Center youth football field in Camden, New Jersey. The suspect is 20-year-old Gloucester County resident Alexander Peters. Police say that Peters also confessed to spray painting a swastika on the property as well. The field was in such bad shape, coaches and other concerned parents stopped their kids from playing on the field because it is too dangerous. Peters has been charged with third degree mischief. He was already in jail for an aggravated assault case he was arrested for on Friday.

14 state universities in Pennsylvania are facing a possible strike by its faculty as a strike deadline comes closer. More than 100,000 students could be affected by the walkout if an agreement isn't reached by Wednesday at 5 a.m. The teachers union has been negotiating with the PA State System of Higher Education on a raise in salary to be offered over three years, health care, as well as new workplace rules. The schools are telling their students that if there is a walkout they will remain open and students should still report to class because it is not known if every teacher will go on strike.

Residents in the Spring Garden and Fairmont sections of Philadelphia are now on high alert after a string of armed robberies that have been going on in the city. There have been 5 armed robberies in the past 30 days, some of them happening in the middle of the day, others in the early morning hours. Police are continuing to investigate the robberies and see if there is a connection to all of them. As of now no arrests have been made in any of the cases.
