Demonstrators tied themselves to a railing inside the Comcast Center to protest the media's coverage of the presidential election. A number of protestors made their way into the lobby and zip tied their wrists to a rails before noon at the building at 17th Street and JFK Boulevard in Center City. Security and Philadelphia Police cleared the lobby and blocked anyone from entering. Later in the afternoon Bernie Sanders supporters continued to demonstrate outside the Municipal Services Building across from City Hall at the 'Bernie or Bust' rally. The group is trying to determine whether to stay and vote for Hillary, leave the Democratic Party, or vote for a third party candidate like Jill Stein.

Today was the Day of Play Extravaganza put on by Philly Play at City Hall in Center City. The event helped connect young people to the Democratic National Convention and give them a chance to get active and play. Stations were set up throughout Dilworth Park and in the courtyard with various activites for the kids. You could paint, sculpt, build, read, construct, draw, dance, and of course play. Many kids opted to run through the fountains on the hot day.

The Democratic National Convention continues on Wednesday in Philadelphia from the Wells Fargo Center. Wednesday's theme is "Working Together." The headline speakers are President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine. Other speakers of note: New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, Civil Rights Leader Reverend Jesse Jackson, and Former Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey, For the full schedule of events go to: http://www.politicspa.com/.

Tonight,
Partly cloudy, temperatures in the mid 80's this evening in Center City
