USDA: No More Junk Food; Love Park Off Limits; Miami Shooting

USDA is no longer allowing school cafeterias to advertise unhealthy foods to students. As a result of this new rule, school cafeterias across the country are going to look entirely different this upcoming fall. Many of them will have to change their breakfast and lunch menus in order to properly benefit student's health. Moreover, schools will have to stop selling junk food and snacks that are seen as "unhealthy." The USDA believes that kids will make more wise and healthy choices if these type of ads are banned.

As of now, Love Park is off limits as a result of a 20 million Renovation Project happening during DNC. Yesterday afternoon, dozens of people took pictures at this park, moments before it was restricted to enter. Many are wondering why the construction of Love Park is being done now, especially since thousands travel to Philadelphia with hopes to visit Love Park. The renovations will be completed by May of 2017.

Thursday, a video was released of a man shot by police in Miami. Though the man kept his body on the ground with his hands held high in the air as he explained his current situation to the police, he was still shot. He tried to persuade North Miami police not to harm him or his patient, a 23-year-old with autism who was sitting beside him. Now Kinsey is hospitalized with a gunshot wound. State authorities say they are investigating.
