Lady Gaga, Lenny Kravitz, and Philly's own DJ Jazzy Jeff will perform at a special concert on the final day of the Democratic National Convention next month. The concert will be held across the river at BB&T Pavilion and is being billed as "Camden Rising." The event will highlight the recent developmental progress and urban transformation of the city of Camden. The Chairman of Cooper Hospital George E. Norcross III announced the concert. His brother Donald is the US Congressman for Camden and surrounding South Jersey areas. Both are Democratic superdelegates who will cast a vote at the convention. The concert will take place hours before Hilary Clinton is expected to accept the democratic nomination for president. The tickets to the invite only concert will available to convention delegates and special guests like the President and Vice President.

Police have arrested a teen in connection to a number tire slashing in Warminster, Bucks County. 19-year-old Collin Francis of Southampton has been charged with Criminal Mischief, Possession of an Instrument of Crime, Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Trespass. 59 vehicles along Street Road had their tires slashed, including 27 at Lafferty's Chevrolet dealership. The damage was estimated at $37,000. Jones was already in custody at Bucks County Correctional Facility. He was arrested on Tuesday at the Saxony Manner Apartments on York Road in Warminster Township after getting into a physical altercation with a juvenile and stabbing him in the arm. He was remanded to jail in lieu of $25,000 on the assault charge. Arraignment is pending on the criminal mischief charges.

Philadelphia 76ers draft pick Dario Saric indicated in an interview with a Turkish newspaper today that he plans on coming to the USA to play for the Sixers this year. 22-year-old Saric was the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and has played the past two seasons with Anadolu Efes in the Turkish Basketball Super League. He said, "I have one more year with Efes and (head coach Velimir) Perasovic wants me to stay, but I gave them (the Sixers) my word. My word means more than a paper." Saric also said, "I'm waiting for this (Olympic qualifying) tournament to end so that I can sit down and work out a deal, then head over to the USA to sign." Saric has until July 17th to decide.
