King of Prussia Mall Expansion; Philadelphia Airport Security; Temple Provost Suddenly Departs

Four more retailers announced they will join the King of Prussia Mall once a new, 155,000-square-foot addition debuts in August. Oliver Peoples, a high-end sunglass and eyewear store; Bottega Veneta, an Italian brand that sells mens and women's fashion as well as leather handbags; along with Rag & Bone and Calligaris. The addition, connecting the Mall to the Gallery, is scheduled to open on Aug. 18th.

Philadelphia International Airport is operating at a heightened level of security following the attack in Istanbul. Suicide attackers armed with guns and bombs killed 41 people and wounded many more at Istanbul's busy Ataturk Airport. They shot many prior to blowing themselves up. The government said Islamic State extremists were believed responsible.

Temple University has announced the sudden departure of its provost, Hai-Lung Dai, saying he "has been relieved of his administrative responsibilities effective immediately." The announcement came on the same day that the university acknowledged that it had exceeded its financial aid budget for its merit scholarship program for 2016-17 by $22 million and is taking steps to balance the budget.

The Phillies are in Arizona this afternoon going for a sweep of the Diamondbacks. Tonight the Union has New York.
