Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect wanted for the brutal assault of a 38-year-old woman and the sexual assault of a 13-year-old teenage girl in a Frankford home early Tuesday morning. It happened around 12:30 a.m. on the 1900 block of Pratt Street. When police arrived to the scene, the teenager described how her stepfather, 39-year-old Malik Bailey, dragged her from her bedroom to the basement and sexually assaulted her. Her mother was found in a pool of blood on the second floor. She was beaten badly on her head and face, even missing teeth. They were both taken to hospitals. Bailey is still at large. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call the Special Victims Unit at 215-685-3251/52 or 911.

Authorities in Chester County are working to identify the body of a woman discovered in a pond on Memorial Day. Police were called around 11:30 a.m. to the pond off Zeiber Road in East Coventry Township. It is a popular swimming and fishing spot and part of Pigeon Creek. The woman's body was found tied to a cinder block. Children had been swimming there on Sunday afternoon so police suspect she was placed there sometime after that. Officials believe she was already dead when she was put in the pond, but the body doesn't appear to have any obvious signs of trauma. An exact cause of death is not yet known. She is described as an African-American female, 5' 2", 130 lbs, with short hair. Anybody with information is asked to contact Chester County Detective Sergeant Tom Goggin at 610-344-6866.

A man fell from the South Street overpass over I-95 in South Philadelphia this morning. It happened at 9:34 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The subsequent investigation closed several lanes and cause traffic to back up for miles. No word on what caused the man to fall.
