Authorities in Wilmington, DE, held a press conference this afternoon to update the investigation into the death of a Delaware teenager following an altercation in a high school bathroom last week. 16-year-old Amy Joyner-Francis died after being assaulted by several girls at Howard High School of Technology on April 21st. Wilmington Police Chief Bobby Cummings said that detectives determined that no weapons had been used. He also said that no charges will be filed at this point. Cummings explained that detectives need time to examine all of the evidence before they would be in a position to file charges. Three girls involved in the fight have been suspended by the school. Watch video of the press conference:

A 17-year-old boy has turned himself in for stealing a car with an infant inside back in March. The juvenile was arrested and charged with kidnapping, theft and related offenses. The initial crime happened on March 14th just before 8 a.m. near 49th and Walnut Streets in West Philadelphia. A 32-year-old father left the motor running on his 2013 Chrysler minivan when he ran into the 49 Stop Food Market. His 4-month-old son was in a carseat in the back. The defendant took off in the minivan with the child still inside. He found and texted the car owner's phone number with the location of the child who was found safe later that day. No word on if the car was recovered.

A 2-year-old girl is recovering after falling through a sidewalk grate in North Philadelphia. It happened around 8:30 a.m. Friday morning on the 2400 block of Germantown Avenue. The child was walking with her mother when she fell 10 feet through the loose grate. She was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in stable condition for evaluation.

Tonight,
Cloudy skies, temperatures around 50 this evening in Center City.
